Egg batches
To be able to respond effectively to the needs of collaborating centers, Ovobank offers different types of egg batch, which they can count on within 24/48 hours. We only ship vitrified eggs in Metaphase II, after a very thorough quality screening to ensure optimal morphological quality.

Egg vitrification is a cutting-edge cryopreservation method that freezes eggs rapidly, minimizing the formation of ice crystals. Unlike traditional slow-freezing methods, vitrification creates a glass-like state, preserving the egg’s delicate cellular structure.
This technique is highly effective in fertility preservation, allowing women to “pause” their biological clock and store eggs for future use. Vitrified eggs have shown similar success rates to fresh eggs in IVF procedures, making it an empowering option for those looking to extend fertility options, whether for personal or medical reasons.
At Ovobank, we utilize this technique to provide clients with high-quality preservation and flexibility for future family planning.

What does egg vitrification consist of?
Vitrification is the most efficient method of cryopreservation and has shown the highest rates in oocytes survival to date (up to 92%*). It is so safe and simple that it can be performed in any Assisted Reproduction clinic.
Vitrification has revolutionized the world of Cryobiology, allowing great success in the cryopreservation of oocytes and embryos.
Thawing is quick and simple, needing only the thawing kit and strict following of the protocol. If necessary, some of our specialized biologists can travel to the Collaborating Center to perform the thawing of oocytes.
By implementing the Universal Warming Protocol,
we achieve survival rates of 97%.
