Ovobank uses special boxes that have been designed in our facilities by our R+D+i team to transport cells. They provide extra protection for the Dry Shipper containers where the eggs and semen straws are transported.
Standard Courier Service
An externar courier company collects the personalised Ovobank boxes and delivers them to the Collaborating Centre within a amximum of 24 to 48 hours.
Air Lab2Lab
The boxes are transported by Ovobank personnel i nthe aircraft cabin, thereby avoiding X-rays, and are hand-delivered from our laboratory to the Collaborating Center’s facilities.
Land Lab2Lab
This method involves land shipments using a special vehicle adapted to transport cryopreserved cells. The boxes are hand-delivered by Ovobank personnel.
