Ovobank, in its dedication to ensuring quality and traceability, has achieved the ISO 9001: 2015 certification for integrated management of its egg and sperm bank, audited by Bureau Veritas. For the transportation of samples, we use DRY SHIPPERS containers, approved for land, air, and sea transport of biological samples.

Legality
Ovobank complies with the Spanish Assisted Reproduction Law 14/2006 and Royal Decree-Law 09/2014, regulating cell and tissue banks within a quality system (both of which are transpositions of European directives 2004/23/EC, 2006/17/EC, and 2006/86/EC into Spanish law, governing the collection, donation, testing, traceability, storage, and distribution of donor gametes). The bank has received official authorization from Spanish health authorities as a human egg bank.
Traceability – Ovotracker
Ovobank has created Ovotracker, the first and only telematic traceability system applied to the shipping of oocytes and cells, enabling the tracking of each phase an egg goes through, from its departure from Ovobank to its arrival at the partner center. This tool allows monitoring parameters such as temperature and GPS location of each batch, ensuring total security in the shipping process and minimizing human error.
