Ovobank was invited by the Portuguese Fertility Society to the XXVI International Conference on Reproduction Medicine in Portugal, held in Figueira da Foz.
There, Ovobank had the opportunity to present two papers, by the hand of our embryologist Borja Renilla.
The first one, with the title “Optimization of results working with an egg bank”, was about the laboratory work of Ovobank, how the samples are received, the laboratory control points, the types of shipments and the follow-up of the same through Ovotracker, etc., and also presented the results of Ovobank oocytes in our FIV Marbella parent clinic.
The second one, entitled “Universal Warming Protocol”, presented the first results of a study, still in progress, where we demonstrated that vitrified eggs with a trademark, in this case Kitazato, can be devitrified with means of other commercial brands without survival rates being affected. The study is still under development, so the results are continuously updated.
