For yet another year, the team of professionals from Ovobank – the first European Donor Egg Bank – attended ESHRE, the most important international event in the assisted reproduction sector. This year, the annual meeting of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) took place on 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th July in Milan, Italy, where it brought together thousands of reproductive medicine professionals from all over the world.
Ovobank attended as an exhibitor at stand D03 offering free demonstrations to all attendees interested in deepening in extending their knowledge of oocyte devitrification technique. It also presented its innovative technologies developed by its R+D+I team, such as its special containers, the Ovomatch facial recognition app, as well as its tracking and monitoring systems for cell delivery: Ovotracker, Ovolabel and Ovoscan.

During the event, the CEO of Ovobank, Enrique Criado, had the honour of presenting the study “Application of a single Universal warming protocol for vitrified donor oocytes: A prospective, multicenter study”. This study presents the solutions to successfully perform the oocyte devitrification technique and highlights several aspects to be taken into account, such as the control and conditions of the laboratory when performing this procedure. As well as the monitoring and compliance of the protocols, a fact that has a direct impact on the oocyte survival rates.
