THE ONLY telematic TRACEABILITY system in transport of EGGS & EMBRYOS

Ovotracker is a pioneering system created by D+I Department for monitoring each of the stages through which an egg passes from request receipt at ovobank until it reaches its destination. In addition, the collaboratoring center can place eggs orders they require through the application and Ovobank website, thereby speeding up the process.

For the first time a complete traceability in the health sector is applied, representing a total innovation in this field. Thanks to the app, it is possible to know parameters such as temperature or GPS position of each batch, fully automating the process and reducing human errors to a minimum.

Facial recognition and fertility

The matching work done by our team, who take into account phenotypic traits, blood group, etc., is now complemented with our facial recognition technology. Ovomatch scans multiple facial points and compares them, thanks to a mathematical facial recognition algorithm, with our extensive database to find donors that more closely ressemble the recipients. Anonymity is fully guaranteed, but the selected donor, as well as a phenotypic compatibility, will have a high facial resemblance to the recipient patient, selecting the donor based on an objective process.

Enhancing Safety in Egg Batch Verification

Ovobank, Europe’s first egg bank, has launched Ovolabel to ensure precise labeling and verification of egg batches. Ovolabel automates SEC code scanning—a unique identifier holding essential details (e.g., donor info, sending center). Previously, lab staff manually recorded these codes, a time-consuming and error-prone process. With Ovolabel, this task is now automated, minimizing human error and increasing safety for patients.

Automating SEC Code Scanning for Accurate Data Recording

Ovoscan is Ovobank’s new system for automatically scanning and recording SEC codes in the lab’s computer system. Designed by Ovobank’s R&D, Ovoscan reduces manual handling and error, boosting batch traceability and data accuracy. Available to all Ovobank partners, Ovoscan represents a leap in lab safety, enhancing protocols worldwide alongside Ovotracker and Ovomatch.
